Since 1996, Digital Deliverance LLC has been providing strategic planning and tactical guidance about New Media to news organizations worldwide. Its clients on four continents have included major newspapers, magazines, and broadcasters. The Digital Deliverance Newsletter is published ten times per year by the firm's managing partner, Vin Crosbie.
Folio, the trade journal of the American magazine industry, has called Mr. Crosbie "the Practical Futurist."
Editor & Publisher magazine, the trade journal of the American newspaper industry, devoted the 'Overview' chapter of its executive research report, 'Digital Delivery of News: A How-to Guide for Publishers, to his work. According to Ifra, the world's largest association of daily newspaper, "Vin Crosbie is widely regarded as one of the most outspoken and expert critics of how the newspaper industry worldwide and particularly in the United States has responded to the digital media revolution. But no one disputes that his is a critique borne of dedication to the newspaper tradition."
Mr. Crosbie's speech to the Broadcast Education Association at the annual meeting of National Association of Broadcasters was one of 24 orations (including speeches by President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Condolezza Rice, and Senators Hilary Clinton and Barak Obama) selected by a team of speech professors for publication in the reference book, 'Representative American Speeches 2004-2005'.
In 2007, Mr. Crosbie was appointed an adjunct professor of visual & interactive communications and the senior consultant on executive education in New Media at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he is currently teaching a post-graduate in New Media Business.
